New Treatment! HyperRealism Brows

From mid May 2023 HyperRealism Brows will be available to book. Book here

HyperRealism brows are a style of hairstroke brows and an alternative treatment to microblading. A nano needle is used to draw realistic, pixelated hairstrokes instead of using a microblade.

A brow shape will be created for you based on your natural bone structure to enhance your current features and hairstrokes are positioned to compliment your current brow shape.

This treatment is also suitable if you have minimal to no brow hair. HyperRealism brows are the perfect enhancement to create a fuller looking brow and a natural result.

Why Lip Blushing is a ‘must have’ beauty enhancement

Over time lips can lose definition with age, it becomes harder to see a clear outline of the lips. You may
also notice a decrease in the colour of the melanin in your lips if you have regularly had fillers injected
.

Lip micropigmentation is the process of implanting pigment into the lip tissue to leave a trace of colour,
and is a form of tattooing, but fades over time. This can be a subtle affect to bring back the loss of colour, to better define your lip shape, or to give a fulllipstick look effect. The colour choice can be matched to your favourite lipstick!

The treatment still allows you to add a gloss, a lip balm, or cover with a different coloured lipstick.

Regularly using lipsticks can dry your lips, especially in the winter therefore this is the perfect treatment to save your lips from this discomfort! Using a lip balm, but still having the appearance of make-up/lipstick is a game changer.

The lip treatment process

The process begins before your appointment even starts! It’s extremely beneficial to exfoliate your lips weekly before your appointment and regularly apply moisturising balm. This helps with the implantation of the pigment to the lips.

If you have ever had a cold sore, even years ago it is advised to take over counter anti-viral cold sore medication 5 days before and after your treatment. This is to help prevent any possibility of an outbreak.

At your appointment

I will take before photos to keep as a record, and then map out your new lip shape using pencil to create a balanced, flattering shape.  Once this has been approved by you, I then layer over the lip drawing with anesthetic cream. Once this has processed I use a fine needle to drawn a soft outline and mark out the new lip shape. Then, using a bigger needle will shade the whole lip to meet the level of saturation of colour that has been agreed (a soft or a more bold look).

During the treatment, there may be a slight scratching sensation but usually the treatment is bearable and does not cause too much discomfort. At the end of your appointment you may experience some swelling, which usually goes down quite quickly, or within 24 hours. Cold, clean compresses can be used to help reduce this.

Aftercare

The following 2 weeks you will need to carefully follow aftercare instructions to help you get the best healed results. This includes avoiding, swimming, sauna's, excessive sweating, and beauty treatments and products. You will be provided with written instructions and a soothing balm to help the heal.

6 weeks after your initial appointment we will review the enhancement and make any necessary adjustments.
